Medical oncology is the practice of treating cancer through chemotherapy, which uses specialized medication to destroy cancer cells and/or halt their ability to divide and grow. These medications can be administered into the bloodstream or can be delivered to a specific area of the body.  The course and length of treatment depends upon the type and stage of cancer that is being treated.

Eaton Place Oncology provides the latest technologies and techniques in cancer treatment. Our dedicated oncology professional’s work with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan, guiding you through the steps required, monitoring progress, answering questions, and connecting you with additional treatment methodologies as needed.

Our medical oncology services are part of Saint Vincent Hospital’s Cancer and Wellness Center, where a team of caring healthcare professionals provide a range of advanced cancer care services in an environment created to promote healing and wellness. The spectrum of services go beyond cancer diagnosis and treatment to provide support services, nutritional guidance, rehabilitation and financial counseling tailored to the needs of each patient who is in our care.
